AMP Diaper vs. Gro-Baby Diaper

I actually own some Gro-Baby diapers and love them. They can also be used without the snap-in liner as a cover for a prefold or fitted. I haven't tried this yet, but will in the future. The AMP diaper is new to me and I would love to try it. Now is my chance. There is a giveaway I found, why don't you check it out as well.

Entries into this contest are simple and so far, there are less than 120 entries so your chances are very good.

Washing my diapers.

Feed Your Stash Friday! http://www.clothdiaperblog.com/feed-your-stash-tiny-bubbles-gro-baby-a-wet-bag/#comment-10483

My wash routine is simple and works well for me. I wash my diapers separately from other laundry, cloth wipes included.

I wash once in cold with detergent (Tide), then once hot with Tide, then on hot again with no detergent. It works well for me and I haven't had any issues yet.

iPlay Swim Diaper

I was wandering around online and toying with the thought of getting Dallas a *cloth* swim diaper. I bought Huggies Little Swimmers, but they are disposable and *nasty*. Check out these iPlay swim diapers and let me know what you think. (http://www.myswimbaby.com/catalog.php?category=16)

I haven't tried this diaper yet, but am hoping to by winning this contest. (http://mommainflipflops2.blogspot.com/2009/07/my-swim-baby-review-giveaway.html)
Go check out her other blogs and giveaway's as well. I'm sure you'll find something you like.

Cuddly Bums

I was lucky enough to win a giveaway for this diaper. This is the first time I tried this diaper. It is a one-size diaper with snaps, a fleece liner, and an adjustable microfiber insert. I chose to try a boy color and received a very bright aqua bluish color (PUL).

I prepped the diaper when washing my other diapers, so first a cold rinse with 1/4 Tide, then a hot wash with 1/4 Tide, then a hot wash with no detergent. I have found this the best method for cleaning my diapers. I then dried them on medium in my dryer.

I was impressed with the fit of the diaper, but near the front there was a bit of bunching. I have it on the smallest setting, but there still seems that there is room to grow. Dallas is currently 13 pounds 13 ounces, so I believe this diaper will last size wise, for the entire diapering period.

I had absolutely NO leaks with this diaper. It was snug around the legs and contained pee and EBF poops really well. Upon washing again, it came clean easily and doesn't show any wear as of yet.

Overall, I would recommend this diaper. I am very satisfied.
